Cellar Contemporary will participate in the 21st edition of ArtVerona, taking place from October 9 to 11, 2026. Numerous artists will be exhibited: Zana Masombuka, Solomostry, Tommaso Buldini, Simone Tribuiani, Erik Foss, Melissa Brown and Margherita Paoletti. The exhibition will be located at booth F5 in pav 12.

Zana Masombuka (Siyabuswa, 1995) is a South African artist and winner of the second edition of the Zenato Academy Award for under-40 contemporary photography. Her works aim at bringing the symbolism of Ndebele tradition to the public's attention. Combining brightly colored photographic prints with meticulous beadwork, the artist reflects on the role of women within this culture and highlights the deep human connection with the environment.
Solomostry (Milan, 1988) expresses a striking and easily recognizable style with a strong emphasis on line work. His lines range from clean and graphic to raw and dripping, all expressed using bold, vibrant color palette. He uses mainly large formats, and his mastery spans hand-printed silkscreens, painting, sculpture, and muralism.
The expressive language of Tommaso Buldini (Bologna, 1979) consists of disconnected, simultaneously presented fragments that depict dreamlike imagery. The realm of dreams and the connection with the subconscious are key elements of his aesthetic, presenting a reality where contradictions become acceptable. The artist’s forms of expression also includes painting and video animation, with works exhibited in Paris, Milan, Rotterdam, and New York.
Simone Tribuiani (Cesenatico, 1975), known as Tribu, is a painter and visual artist whose language is characterized by a deep connection to his local territory. His artistic practice repurposes reclaimed materials, for example discarded wood from shipyards, using them as supports for miniatures and installations. At the core of his imagery is the celebration of sports, interpreted not only as athletic gestures, but as a collective ritual capable of evoking cherished memories.
Erik Foss (United States, 1973) is a visual artist whose style weaves together punk, underground, and graffiti aesthetics. In his works, he explores themes of trauma, identity, and consumer society using mixed media across painting, photography, sculpture, and installation.
Melissa Brown (United States, 1974) explores everyday life through patterns of symbols, hidden messages, and transformations that reveal the hidden complexity of reality. Her style stands out for its use of mixed techniques combining painting, printmaking, and collage. For over a decade, she hosted poker tournaments at various contemporary art fairs and galleries, symbolizing art's role as a subject of speculation and chance.
Margherita Paoletti (Fabriano, 1990) is an artist, illustrator, and designer. Working between London and Rovereto, she employs a wide range of techniques: painting, digital drawing, jewelry design, and ceramic modeling. She also specializes in printmaking techniques such as etching and linocut. A recurring subject in her work is the female body, which becomes a living stage for floral details and introspective symbolism.
We would also like to highlight the exhibition Innesti Contemporanei, promoted by Fondazione Nadia Zenato ETS and curated by Luca Panaro. The event takes place within the framework of ArtVerona as part of the "Tra Parentesi" project. Artists Rebecca Moccia, Zana Masombuka, and Annalaura Tamburrini will be exhibited inside the Capitol Library of Verona. The location provides a unique opportunity to create a dialogue between the world's oldest continually operating library and the contemporary languages used by these artists: tapestries created from thermal photographs, performative portraits, and blue cyanotypes. The exhibition will run from October 9 to 11, 2026, at the Capitol Library of Verona, located at Piazza Duomo, 19.
