The newest event of the Italian Newbrow project welcomes over sixty works (works on canvas, paper and board and video installations), many of which unpublished, by the exponents of this group, all very popular names: Silvia Argiolas, Vanni Cuoghi, Paolo De Biasi, Fulvia Mendini, Laurina Paperina, Giuliano Sale and Giuseppe Veneziano.
The title "Italian Newbrow" refers to an Anglo-Saxon neologism interposed between the terms lowbrow and highbrow, which stigmatize the opposition between a popular art and a cultured art, and wants to indicate the plurality of solicitations in which artists who work in an ever-changing global, technological and interconnected context in the "liquid" society theorized by Zygmunt Bauman. Among these artists there is also Laurina Paperina.

The Cellar Contemporary gallery in Trento returns to ArtVerona, exhibiting a combination of Italian artist Laurina Paperina, Slovak artist duo Jarmila Mitríková & Dávid Demjanovič and American artist Austin Eddy.
It begins today as on the clock as December, franz's "Adventskalender", that this year is very "More than Santa and Klaus".
The exposition named "Übergang" led the artists David Aaron Angeli, Stefano Cagol, Federico Lanaro, Andy Ness e Larina Paperina to reflect about the concepts of "passing" and "transition". When past and present meet, the results can be surprising, as it is with the show "Übergang | Passaggi d'arte contemporanea", curated by Cellar Contemporary at Forte Civezzano.
