In this article dedicated to the South African artist Karlien De Villiers, the author hightlights the rethorical technique used in the works and focuses on the '' Floating solo '', the artwork that gives the name to the exhibition. The work allows the viewers to catch a glimpse of the complexity of the world, and thereforethe to identify themselves with a bird and enter into the picture.
