If it's true that historiography is a narration written by the winners in which little omissions, substantial adjustments and ambiguous justifications converge to protect our good consciousness, the artists of the Fate of Empires exhibition (Andrew Gilbert, Umar Rashid and the duo Jarmila Mitrikovà and David Demjanovič) seem to enjoy playing with the historical materials, subverting the assumptions.
