Conceiving the body as a gateway that connects our dark and oscure inner life to the outside world, made of lights, colors and relationships: this is the focus of Margherita Paoletti’s work, a young artist from Fabriano who lives and works in Trentino since the past few years.

Throughout the themes that give the title to some of her series of works (“enlighted organs”, “Shadows of a dream”, “Stories on skin”), the artist draws out a path that leads to the discovery of oneself and of the Self, using her figurative painting and the unveiling of her creative process to engage the spectator.

Cellar Contemporary, an art gallery based in Trento, launches a collaboration with Mind Order, a psychotherapeutic and psychological studio in Milan, with the exhibition of Margherita Paoletti, in which the main focus is to explore the idea of “study” as a vital practice in order to reach quality and satisfaction both during the artistic process - which could also be seen as a therapeutic journey - and in the personal psychoanalytical process.

The expository project implies placing a “brainstorming wall” that reproduces the atelier of the artist, a sort of map from which the steam of thoughts generated by the so-called “Inner landscape” can flow. This set of stimulations, made of sketches, sentences, photos, drawings or mere visual suggestions, resulted in the artworks on canvas set up inside the studios and in the huge work “Testaforesta” (literally foresthead) - logo of the exhibition - located in the waiting area.
